Out of Office AutoReply

Just sent an e-mail and got the "Out of Office AutoReply" saying the recipient is on holiday from the 10 May for two weeks.  rubschin:

So I resend the e-mail to to her colleague and get another "Out of Office AutoReply"  Banghead

So I ring her colleague and get a "I'm out of the office, please leave a message"

so I did cussing:

As a security measure I always tell people not to use OOO.

If you must use it, do not give out info like you are on holiday, redirect them to another person..

Had an e-mail from a credit control dept regarding a couple of outstanding invoices. Picked up phone to call them on the number shown at the bottom of the e-mail...  noooo:


The preamble to my reply:

I tried to call you on the number below, the switchboard said you were on a different number but that they didn't have it (!)

Get an e-mail this morning at 8am asking some technical questions...

I made an immediate reply (that'll impress them thinks I) with the answers and at 8:07 I get the response...
