Mine appears to have packed up

Great .....no hot water , luckily don't need heating right now.

Now the joy of being ripped off to fix it  cussing:

No service plan Snoops ...expired 2 months ago and i haven't renewed  redface:

The pilot light will only appear when igniting manually but as soon as you stop pressing the button it goes out.
Pressure is adequate, although mine is rising  noooo:

It's gubbed. Check out prices of a new one c/w installation costs from at least three local plumbers before you involve British Gas who, in my experience, somehow manage to quote more to service and repair a boiler than a new one would cost.
