I have just rung them to chase.

"Did you specify a morning appointment madam " the call centre blokey asks ....

"Oh yes, as I have meetings this afternoon that I have to attend and I was very clear with the engineer on Monday that this was the case " I reply getting that sinking feeling in my tum tum.

So off he goes to chase engineer and says will call back shortly.

" Sorry Madam, you are on the all day planner schedule with no preference stated , are you sure you made it clear to the engineer on Monday "

" How clear do you want me to have stated it ....I said I could only do Thursday morning , what could be confusing about that ?"

"O.k madam let me call them back and I will ring you back "

5 mins later ......

" Leon will be on his way after he has finished the job that he is on , he has rearranged his schedule for you"

"Leon" doesn't sound wholly English to me  rubschin:

I predict much teeth sucking and a very slow appraisal of the task before he pronounces it "eemposseebell".
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.
