His colleague did not have the right lead either. He is attempting to do a 'temporary fix '.

If I don't post again assume I will have died of carbon monoxide poisoning.

2 weeks without hot water , now going into the 3rd. 1 initial appointment to assess defect, 2 appointments where they didn't show. 3rd appointment today , wrong lead. He has just left and said I should make formal complaint. Informed already had, not that anybody has responded.

Growler please ring them. I am so fed up with this feckin farce

Have you contacted this Gas Safe organisation or whatever they're called now...used to be CORGI, as they sound like a bunch of incompitent cocks that shouldn't be using their logo to me.

Have now had to disconnect.gas supply at the Meter as strong smell of gas.

I will deal with this complete fucking mess tomorrow, right now I'm going to my friends, ordering lots of Chinese food, drinking lots of voddy, watching England trounce the oppo and forgetting about this crap.

You MUST contact Gas Safe first thing Monday morning.
Where have this BIG company left the state of play then?

Ring Gas Emergency ( British Gas) and they will come out pronto to either fix it or disconnect.

H&S reminder ::)
Open yer windows to get rid of the gas, nd DON'T turn on ANY electrical items including light switches. noooo:
