Ok I have turned the gas back on this morning just to double check that it wasn't me being over sensitive last night and it wasn't that the gas smell wasn't simply left over from the engineer attempting his 'temporary fix ' etc.

Oooh no ...within a minute the pleasant smell of gas was fairly strong in my kitchen.

Turned if straight back off again at the meter  evil:

So now apart from no heating and hot water I can now no longer cook ( although some might consider that a blessing in disguise  lol: ).

Guess I know what I'll be doing today  Banghead Banghead Banghead

Homeserv - me and TMR know someone who works for them. Nice enough guy, but not qualified as far as I know.
Big name, but I wouldn't recommend them to anybody.

Not very helpful, I know.

Either call these incompitent clowns....for want of slightly more acceptable werd for you...OR ring British Gas Emergency Dept., and they'll have someone out today to sort at least THAT problem out for you. happy088

Well?

Even I'm getting worried for our little petal now, and that don't easily normally happen.

I expect, just like the boiler, she has gone out.

Well she should be in resolving the problem, NOT looking at frocks and bloody 'andbags. Angry9:

She's fine Growler just in another place at the moment.
