Cake is only supplied to those that actually reach the top WITHOUT complaining, a ciggy or stopping for a 'breather' cus his poor body can't take anymore.

Ey, forgot to mention for you berd luvers. I saw my very first Black Grouse up there last week, in fact TWO together.  
Only 14 of them known to be living in the region apparently.
They were in amongst the heather as I passed them, and they both suddenly darted out and upwards.
I absolutely shat meself.

They make a right old horrible racket btw.
