Saw a fox and a small deer, then the bloody dog ran off chasing something in the woods, next thing a bloody badger emerges from the undergrowth, across the path and almost across my boots with the dog in hot pursuit...they both disappeared into the undergrowth on the other side, but then the dog must have thought better of it and turned tail...just as well, she got lost last time, only this time it was almost dark...
