I have received an bulletin 

1. Growler left his jacket on the plane 
2. Mrs Growler locked the suitcase keys, um, in the suitcase 
3. Mini Moose has been bitten 
4. Growler Jr. has "fallen over" 
5. Place full of "bloody foreigners" 
6. Growler in combat with rep over state of accommodation   

Apart from that all is well.

Won't his old me'ill by feeling very rejected 

Nah ~ his me'ill is heaving with people at this time of the year. It is a well advertised attraction complete with "led" walks, lectures, and study groups crawling all over it. It is not, and has not been for donkey's years, an isolated or desolate spot. FFS the monument on the top was put there to celebrate the Jubilee of George III ~ which is not something the good people of Wales would have chosen an isolated place for. There is a road that takes any vehicle almost to the top and it is perfectly possible to complete the journey in a 4X4.

The Jubilee Tower was built in 1810 to commemorate the golden jubilee of George III. Designed by Thomas Harrison of Chester, it was to be an Egyptian styled obelisk, built in three stages. The tower was never completed however and in 1862 a strong storm blew it down. It was partially removed to make it safe and what you see today are the sturdy remains of the Tower.
