You're getting the hang of the new moby then Growler? I must say I'm not up to speed with how you CAN use a mobile on the road these days; presumably you can use bluetooth and hands free stuff no problem?

I glared nastily yesterday while waiting at a red light at the Nigerian in the next car who was gleefully shouting into his mobile held to his ear, other hand somewhere in the vicinity of the steering wheel  ::)

Oh yes indeedeedo. Well 'appy. cloud9:
Luv it, ESPECIALLY the flip front that you just open to answer calls. No more fiddlin' round looking for specific buttons, and no more accidentaly cutting peoples off cus I pressed the wrong one or summat.
Sweeeeet, as a nut. cloud9:

The complete mystery is the fact that the battery has been showing dangerously low levels for nearly 48 hours now, but it's still werkin'! eeek:

I'm sure the techhies technical wizards might have an opinion about the battery but what I'd be inclined to do is to let it run right down then do a full, overnight charge. I spose the werst that can happen is that you might need a new battery ... ?

No, that is indeed most excellent advice Pasty, and that is what I am actually doing.
I think over 4 days, and still counting, from a full charge is most excellent, especially taking into account, 'Nicks' 'little mischief making episode' on saturday. ::)

Like most bits of kit I find I rarely use all the capabilities it has. I never used all the call divert, conference call things but as you've found out the flip open / flip close thing was luvverly  8)

Me neither. I do/did use the divert facility to Growler jnr/snr when I go on me holidays though.

Try putting the battery in a sealed plastic bag then put it in the freezer. On the advice of works IT geeks I once did it with a laptop battery and it appeared to increase the life of the battery. if you Google for advice it seems some sites say it works, and others say it's a load of bollocks  confused:

Goosed would suggest it's buggerybolloxed.

I think ...without wishing to put words in Growler's mouth ...that the battery has simply run out of charge.

Well spotted MD, well spotted! happy088

Don't fret Pasty. I was deliberately running the battery down so I know how long a charge lasts, and it also tells me if the battery is in fact permanently goosed or not.
It was only temporary goosed today, not permanently, cus of the reasons stated.

I've un-goosed it now (fully charged), and am most pleased that a full charge appears to be lasting 5 days, which is good. cloud9:
Not bad considering it hasn't been used for several years ey?

Me paws free bluteeth thingy kit should be here soon too.
