Cant do that on me laptop, instead I've used the movement receptors in my brain and moved me face closer to the screen...

If you are using IE Mr Happy click on the view tab at the top of the screen, select text size and then click on largest  whistle:

Not sure whether i like this or not, my screen has a dead line about 75% of the way accross (due to son confusing laptop with trampoline) so was using a smaller window.  I think with it this size I can almost see everything!

Check ebay, you should be able to get a replacement screen from there cheaply. Unfortunately none of my usual suppliers deal with laptop screens so I cant help much there.

You could invest in a Sherlock Holmes-esque magnifying glass I suppose  point:

I have a nice big tft job upstairs that I plug into for my photo editing and any job that needs that clear vision.  It's just on the move which generally means i can cope.  I miss about 3 letters with the screen set like this so it's no big deal.

Can you exchange children on e-bay?
