The last two obviously go without saying.  redface:

Ulterior motive for the sat nav is that I am beyond shit at map reading. When doing so once for my Dad I wondered out loud where the river (blue map line) was because we should be driving very close to it.  redface: I feel it might be a necessary purchase for harmony within the vehicle.

My first wife once tried to make me take a right turn in Amsterdam. She was reading the street map ~ I had been there before. She got very angry when I refused to make the turn on the sensible grounds, I thought, that she was trying to direct me into a canal. She was still not speaking to me two days later ..... because I was right! evil:
I swear she is Mrs Nicks sister.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

The last time I witnessed SatNav was in a friend's car and we ended up going round and round a strange part of Westbourne Grove... the streets getting narrower and narrower. Ended up down a cul-de-sac nearly knocking over a Thai street barbecue  eeek:

I was offered a chicken satay through the passenger window  ;D
