The joys of kids summer holidays
« on: July 21, 2010, 05:34:31 PM »
Two days into this deep, deep joy  noooo:

£25 quid down already  evil:

All the weeks shopping has been eaten by her and her 'friends' who have been cooking away . Anything left over for likkle ol me as I come in after a hard days work ? - not a freakin chance  evil:

House in chaos - stuff everywhere  noooo:

I came home last night and she was wearing my top and some of my jewellery  evil: - after a stern telling off and saying don't go into my room and take MY stuff without asking I thought we had reached an understanding  cloud9:

Came home tonight , wearing another of my tops  cussing:

Apparently I am just 'vexed' cos it looks better on her like  angry041:

Washing up piled high in the sink ....apparently this will be done 'later'.  'Later' is  Nirvanna. Which when you actually achieve this you find you have had to die first  noooo:

Her BFF is here and they are doing their hair....this means the smell of hair straighteners burning the scalps and squirty , sprayey stuff being applied liberally . Bunsfield would have nothing on this if it caught alight  noooo:

Day 2 of the Summer Holidays   sad32: sad32: sad32: sad32: sad32:

Oh the dreadful memories that this evokes Miss D.  happy100

I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

Of all the bloody American ideas that haven't caught on why was this not one of them  cussing:

Dunno why not babe ~ Summer Camps would be a winner I would have thought. Either day camps like the one shown or those where you pack the kids off for the whole holiday and visit them over a weekend.

I suggested the THW might like to go fruit picking to earn some spondoolicks for the up-coming university expenses but she replied that she was "not a bloody Romanian". According to the Farming Today she could be earning £100 a day in Hereford with accommodation provided.

In fact I spent my summer break doing just that back in my RAF training days. Earned more picking apples for Bulmers in a month than the RAF paid me in a year.

Had the very same thought when Summer Camp was mentioned.

Quite so Pirate but it kept them amused and me sane, I might be lying though as I am here or at least I might be virtually here but not here in reality. shocked003
