What are we coming to?

Unable to sleep last night I decided, at about midnight, to go for a stroll. As I walked down the road I noticed a white haired wumman standing on the corner. I sort of nodded to her and carried on. After a bit I turned round and walked back. SHe was now standing on her front door step watching me. I sort of nodded again.

I HAVE JUST HAD THE PLOD AT THE DOOR!!

Was I wandering about late last night? Where was I going? Why? Report of suspicious behaviour  eeek:

So I can't even go for a walk now without being investigated.

They went away, presumably to report back to the local vigilante. I did not say goodbye to them  evil:

If the person in question makes a habit of standing outside at that time of night ~ AND YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE HER WITH YOURSELF BEING SEEN ~ might I suggest a call to plod telling them that you think she is soliciting (and not for house conveyance purposes) whistle:

It was probably a call with good intent... Shrugs:  you may have looked suspicious...she didn't know...how many times have you wished you called the police, but didn't?...I'd rather not comment tbh, puts me in a difficult position...I'll get shot down whateva I say
