I was listening to this earlier today, all about vitamin D:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00t66nr

Some of these 'advisors' and 'specialists' are taking seemingly huge quantities of VitD supplements  eeek: . I don't take any, of any sort vitamin wise.  How about you lot?

I only take these as I am conscious that my diet desperately lacks certain essential oils ( obviously all fish related !! )

I've always suffered from stomach problems (including the size) for years. A few years ago I started taking actimel drink, and like Darwin, if I miss a couple of days, I notice the difference

In the trade, they are known as "inserts".

They are printed in the week before and then obviously, inserted.

What ~ Like the sports supplements that give Saturday's results and match reports?
Print them during the week do they ~ that explains why my horses never win ~ it's all fixed during the week before the races. ::)

Something I remembered from the prog referred to ...

Research has shown that groups of Jordanian wimmin are surprisingly deficient in vitamin D. Why, in such a sun soaked country?  It's because they cover up!

I eat a diet that is high in fruit and vegetables but do take vit D in the winter.
