And how is the puter?

My suspicions confirmed.
Registry cleaning tool thing in here isn't  completing its scan.
The progress bar just vanishes after 1 minute, and it hasn't dropped down to the bottom like other things do.  Shrugs:

Running the 'one click fixes'.
Just re-sets most things to default I think.

Seems to be running slightly better.
Few more to do once I go offline.

Just up/down/whatever loaded this:
http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor-antivirus/?redir=no&utm_content=home-page&utm_medium=banner&ref=display-tucows&utm_campaign=SD&utm_source=tucows

I used it in the past when I had a 'dodgy' copy of XP, but couldn't remember what it was called when I had this thing wiped during a 'proper legit' XP installation. ::)

Remembered now anyway, and it's just detected and wiped out about a scrillion infections and bibs and bobs.  cloud9:
FREE too!
Oh I luv FREE! cloud9:

Anyone else use it?

Wha? Shrugs:

I 'ad it installed in here for about 3 years prior to me new XP, as it was recommended to me to remove a particulary nasty bug in here that was virtually making this thing unuseable.

It told me in the summary that it had found 'it' and murdered it for me. eveilgrin:

It's currently doing a FULL scan now, and has already found some more 'medium risk' things, and some 'info & PUA's' whatever they are?  Shrugs:

Spyware Seekmo_ Search_Assistant for instance.
Wasat all about then ey?  Shrugs:

Why don't they talk English. ::)

I've used it and it's ok.

Worst part is where software detects nasties but can't always get rid of them completely and you have to use another bit of software.
I cleaned a PC a few months ago and had to use 3 different packages and run each one twice at 2-3 hours a time!

Nah. It's still goosed, and turning the intermong off still wouldn't let me do the disc cleaning thing job as you suggested.

I'll call me man in I think, cus this slowness and jamming is getting RIGHT upon my breasts tbqath.
Sometimes it's ok though, which I find quite odd.

Never had this problem until I switched to this digi broadband crap. ::)

Deleted the spy doctor thing.
1) It was no longer offering a full scan for free like it used to, and..
2) This thing was going even slower, and it certainly didn't like this site. noooo:
Every time i tried typing, the bloody page would move up so I couldn't read what I was writing. Shrugs:

Absolutely hate computers with so much passion, it's almost unbelievable. sick2:

edit. Not just this site. It's started it's jumping up whilst typing on me LFC footie site now too. cussing:
