Try the usual, not having a connection to the net.
Also try running in safe mode.

It's currently doing a FULL scan now, and has already found some more 'medium risk' things, and some 'info & PUA's' whatever they are?  

Spyware Seekmo_ Search_Assistant for instance.
Wasat all about then ey?

I've used it and it's ok.

Worst part is where software detects nasties but can't always get rid of them completely and you have to use another bit of software.
I cleaned a PC a few months ago and had to use 3 different packages and run each one twice at 2-3 hours a time!

Nah. It's still goosed, and turning the intermong off still wouldn't let me do the disc cleaning thing job as you suggested.

I'll call me man in I think, cus this slowness and jamming is getting RIGHT upon my breasts tbqath.
Sometimes it's ok though, which I find quite odd.

Deleted the spy doctor thing.
1) It was no longer offering a full scan for free like it used to, and..
2) This thing was going even slower, and it certainly didn't like this site.
Every time i tried typing, the bloody page would move up so I couldn't read what I was writing.

Absolutely hate computers with so much passion, it's almost unbelievable.
