My take?

There's a certain surreal element with the washing machine (an inanimate object) behaving like a human/animal, thrashing about in it's death throes. It's a bit incongruous, even ludicrous. So there's a number of "comedy" elements all acting at the same time. 

Funnily enough, and as of by coincidence like, I was JUST going to type virtually the same explanation and assessment of the clip as seen from my angle...like. whistle:
