In the mood for making mischief...
« on: August 13, 2010, 09:58:24 AM »
I really know that I should not there has been a lot of water under the bridge and all that and if I was left alone I would be fine but...

After many years of being apart I finally am divorced, IMHO not unjustifiably during the course of said divorce I wanted half of the marital goods and chattels, I was sent half a sofa, literally, a rusted up microwave oven and a rusted up sewing machine.  I took photographs but kept my cool and did not respond.

I have given up my house my business and my belongings to finally get away from this person and yesterday waiting for me on my door step was a padded envelope.

It contained two photographs of my youngest children when they were about three and four and a certificate from a course |I took in the eighties, three broken and mouldy frames and a load of broken glass, a hand written note saying that he had found them in the garage and thought that I might like them.

I know that I should really post this question on yahoo amsweres but I thought that I would save Nick the hassle of copying and pasting...

I am sooo tempted to send the whole thing back and say no I don't want it, arrange for him to be killed send him a few dog turds with a hand written note and yet I know what I should really do and what I have done with his crap in the past is to ignore it. shutup:

Someone tie me to the table please. Banghead

I know guys, thank you for that I will have a cup of coffee and delete the post prolly.

Whilst waiting for the kettle to boil I will dump the envelope in the bin.

Agreed here too  happy100

Easier said than done, but take a good breath and try to sidestep the provocation.  You might also imagine the other party having a horrendous Friday 13th  eveilgrin:

Snoops PM me ;)

I have resisted as I knew I would, makes me sound like I am blowing my own trumpet and that is not the case, just needed to let off steam, so thank you for that.

I have dumped the padded envelope in the bin and that is an end to it.  My memories of my children are more than enough and the fact that I have in my possession certificate two and three of the training course I took rather suggests that certificate one is under my belt.

I do rather hope that he had a dreadful Friday 13th but how childish is that.... Sinister:
