iPresents
« on: August 15, 2010, 12:47:45 PM »
Got my son an iPhone for his birthday the other week and recently got my daughter an iPod for hers.
I was dead chuffed when the family clubbed together and bought me an iPad for Father's day.
Got my wife an iRon for her birthday.

It was around then the fight started...

Yea! The Main Man is back ~ Full remission for good behaviour I assume.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

I am currently doing a "work placement" (read free labour) but it's for the British Heart Foundation, so a great cause. All day long I lift things - sofas, beds, side units, washing machines - everything heavy basically. And you know what?  I bleedin' love it!

The first few mornings were hard - every muscle in my body hurt, but it's getting easier and it's doing me the world of good. I'm eating heeeoooge lunches and dinners, yet I've still lost 1/2 a stone. Don't think I've been this fit since I gave up rugby.

Hopefully I have another 8 weeks of it and who knows - it may lead to a permanent position.

Stop it you lot, you're making me go all goose-bumpy.

I've been keeping an eye on things here, but I'm so knackered when I get home from work, I normally collapse on the sofa with a few cans.

More pics of Me-Mi please!

I did the same after I qualified in the 70's recession for about 6 months and I loved it too although I knew it wasn't going anywhere.
