He was a mod over there and all mods over there get constantly slagged off ~ particularly if they come from Wales .... Never the less He was deffo a He and I think the name was a deliberate "joke".

His wife (partner) posted under various names including Pussy Galore.

He joined us as a Mod at the beginning and was barred "over there" at about the same time. Bit of a cart and horse situation and I can't recall which came first.

Anywhoo ~ last I heard from Mrs B was, as I say, that they were giving up their place (in Newport I think it was where she used to help run the local Fruit and Veg Co-operative; she was resigning from that as well) and moving in with this overseas domiciled relly (An Aunt but whether hers or his was not clear, I think hers) to look after the elderly lady as she was not expected to live for more than 6 months. She did post once some months later but only the once and vanished again. He (Miss Understood/Bouncer) was also ill as I recall and Mrs wasn't in the best of health either. Perhaps they inherited from the sick relly, liked the sunshine and stayed out there. I dunno.
