The TG's annoy the sheepburners.
« on: September 09, 2010, 06:56:33 PM »
Monday. We shall be in France. Feck knows where. Somewhere east of Paris.

For a week.

Mrs TG suffers from vertigo.

I have told her that if she doesn't get into the elevator upside the Eiffel tower with the rest of us to see the view from the top, I shall leave her at the mercy of French men who no doubt will be lurking at base of said tower waiting to molest said abandoned English wimmin .

Cheese.  cloud9:

Wine.  cloud9:

Waterfowl compressed until their insides drip onto nice crackers.  cloud9:

Nice coffee.  cloud9:

Notre Damme.  cloud9:

Shite breakfasts!  cloud9:

EurofeckingbastidDisney.  ;D

Wish us luck people.

I think my cat wants to kill me...

Have a wonderful trip.  Get cheap 3  (or I think they do 5 day) ticket for the metro, €30 approx last time I had one.  Buy it at the metro.  Tour the Stade de France, Rodin's house, the Orangerie, Musee d' Orsay, the Opera House is worth a visit, the Perfume Museum and take Picnics its cheaper and enjoyable.  Oh and go on the roof of the Gallerie Lafayette ... for the photos!  Bonne vacances.  cloud9:

This was going to be a holiday on a budget.

But after 3 months arguing with the taxman to see if I was entitled to working tax credits for 2008/9 which I mostly spent on the dole typing shite on here they finally saw reason and without warning dumped 550 quid into our bank yesterday.

We have just been shopping.  cloud9:

Good move ... spend it before they change their mind. Have a good holiday and don't forget my stick of rock this time.

We have returned undamaged and with Euro Disney unvisited (shame).

I made it to the top of the Eifel tower (Mrs TG wimped out and only went half way up) about 6 hours before some twat threatened to blow it up and caused about 2000 tourists to be evacuated.  happy001

I have cheese.

Did you miss me like?
