Editing Adobe Acrobat files

I know you can't do it with Reader. Trying to download trial version of Acrobat 9 from their website, but it is taking forever. Any tips?

TBH neither could I a couple of weeks ago so I deleted all the downloads, said sod it and haven't bothered since.  redface:

The most promising looking is PDF Xchange Viewer, but I can't get the tool bar to do what I want  evil:
