I don't know if the same applies to you ... but... when I get any form of text files in I usually save them as raw text and then format them as I wish, i.e. font, size, leading, kerning, removing widows etc to suit the space and format I choose.

This one is full of fooking bar charts, so that doesn't werk. 

Anyhoo first 36 page doc sent off to client. Next one can wait till Saturday.
