I bought some new shirts
« on: September 23, 2010, 12:17:48 PM »
Online. Nice 100% cotton shirts that came in an "extra length" as I hate shirts that come un-tucked.

They arrived a couple of weeks ago and I was quite pleased with them. At £20 a shirt not bad value. I am wearing one today.

What I hadn't realised was that they have a small logo on the left tit, it is actually an embroidered Griffin (Mythical Bird not leader of BNP) that is not unpleasant although I am not much given to logo flaunting.

The pale blue shirt that I am wearing today has a yellow logo and it keeps catching the corner of my eye. Every time I see it I try to brush it off  redface:

It is driving me barmy  Banghead

Will Self once admitted to filing off the Volvo logo from the cylinder block of his car  whacky115

However I do sympathise; logo flaunting is a despicable trait.  I once unpicked a shark from a polo shirt  redface:

It is almost impossible to buy polo shirts without the blasted things on!  cussing:

(Awaits inevitable link to non-logo polo shirt supplier)

In my search for well fitting shirts for gentlemen of a certain girth I came across many "Jermyn St. Shirtmakers" who offered a "made to measure" service that was anything but. They may make shirts of an appropriate length but only if one has the arms of a chimpanzee! They are unable to comprehend that wanting a longer tailed shirt does not mean that one can scratch ones knees without bending. They all offer embroidered initials on the left breast of the shirt at an additional cost.  Banghead

If you buy a BMW don't you have to pay extra not to have the label on the back?  rubschin:
