I recall that my mum gave me a pomegranate once when I was about 8. SHe also gave me a pin "to eat it with". I stuck it on the pin and tried to eat it like a toffee apple

Do you eat nuts? ~ They are seeds.
For example you only eat the inside of a Brazil nut ..... not the shell.

My Mum used to give me a cocktail stick to hook out the seeds ..... for safety I s'pose

I ate some once ..... very strong flavour. My only excuse is that I was in Belgium at the time and can't read Flemish. Should have waited until I reached the Dutch speaking bit I suppose as I can usually manage to find my way round a Dutch menu.
