Unblocking drains

Say you were having a shower and instead of running away the water got higher and higher and flooded the bathroom, hypothetically like, what is that chemical you can bung down the drain to stop it happening again, like?

Mr. Muscle Drain Cleaner is good...

But given that the trap is prolly full of ginger hair you'll need to hoik that out first like... in fact that'll prolly fix it...  whistle:

Spirits of Salts - try your local hardware store.
Open windows first !
Leave for an hour or so & then give a good 'flush' through

Sulphuric acid (98% like), you get it here for about a tenner a gallon.

It sorts the lot out, unfortunately also strips the laquer from the bath.  redface:
