On the subject of dogs and parents ..... The local rozzers take a sniffer dog into the THW's school once a month, pick a class at random and check out the kids. Last month two children (One from Year 7 and one from year 11) were seen to be escorted from the premises by police and hastily summoned parents. Last week they picked the classroom occupied at the time by the THW and her geology teacher. No other kids in that day as it was an AS level class and the other two taking the subject were off with colds. The dog showed interest in the teacher  eeek: who had to empty his pockets (Asthma Inhaler and packet of Panadol found) Teacher had to remove jacket and leave it on his desk  then go to another room to be re-sniffed. Nothing untoward but very embarrassing for him.

The other local High School is "sniffed" weekly and they almost always find something!

What is the world coming to when after a year of this the dummies are still being caught? Don't kids ever learn?

Best event to date, according to the THW, was when the Rozzers picked on a chemistry room (the classes have numbers but no names) .... fecking dog went demented, barking at every cupboard. When the police demanded that the cupboards be opened Dr XXXXX obliged by unlocking each one in turn, grinning broadly. Stuffed full of chemicals as you would expect! You would have thought that 25 kids sat in front of bunsen burners would have given them a clue. Exit rozzers with  redface: only to bump into the visiting school nurse ..... in whom the dog also showed a great deal of interest......... Until she revealed that her bitch, which was in her car, was in heat!

Police left the premises to hoots of laughter from all the kids and most of the staff. They now have a new dog.
