Yawning and stretching ...what's that all about?

Just had a mahoosive yawn followed by the a good stretch.

Does it make me feel any more awake ..I doubt it  noooo:

Yawning is said to be the body needing a large intake of oxygen ...... Dunno who would have told me that but I have carried the info for years. Stretching is much the same  .... the muscles need the exercise to take in the oxygen.  angel1

Yeah I know , we all get fed that load of bolloney but it doesn't make a blind bit of difference in reality does it  noooo:

If you see someone else yawn does your brain suddenly think they are taking away your oxygen and opens your mouth and lungs to grab as much as you can  noooo:
