« on: October 19, 2010, 06:33:17 AM »
So just before they announce the bleak results of the Spending Review and doom and gloom becomes ever more prevalent, the powers that be decide to boost the nations mood with news of a royal wedding.

Oh purleaseeeee ....

Speculation in the Daily Mail...... could be a lot of bollix.

On the other hand he has to marry someone, sometime, so why not?

I have to say that in 1963 I swore an oath to honour and obey Her Majesty, her heirs and successors. Handing back my tin hat and being thanked for my faithful service did not release me from that oath ....... but there are times when the Royals don't make it easy to keep. noooo:

Still, if Kate is his choice, good luck to them both. At least William is a decent sort of chap who has coped with a lot in his life and got on with it. My hopes that he and his brother would lead the troops against the Labour Government and shoot the fvcking lot came to nought but I can't really blame him for that failure.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.
