Been to the monthly meeting of the Ware U3A this afternoon, somehow I seem to have been roped in to help with the AV equipment. They've got some decent stuff although the wireless mic gave out halfway through the talk from the head of the Hertfordshire Archives. Fortunately we got her up and running again. Some fascinating stuff.

Anyway, I play cribbage with a group on Tuesdays. Good bunch and fairly young (relatively speaking) and I've started with a computer group as well.

There was a fair number of "ga-ga" members at the meeting but in all a good experience.

Excellent new Uncle and you have reminded me I meant to look into it up here when we moved.

I 'spect they do ferret ferkling and whippet wanging up here but you never know.
