Talking of Nick, he should be watching Call The Midwife... Jenny Agutter's in it ... as an elderly Mother Superior   ;)

Oh, and I read Birdsong too; they'll have to compress it for a 2 part'er   rubschin:

I can't believe it's nearly 20 years since I read Birdsong  eeek:. The adaptation, first part, has drawn mixed reviews; I really enjoyed it. Languorous, desolate, disturbing ... but that's enough about me  whistle:

I look forward to Part Deux next Sunday  :thumbsup:
