Okay, you’ll all need some dice – except TMR who is just going to use one die and therefore won’t be able to throw a double-six to start.
Barman’s Automated Random Selection Equipment will choose the murderer, location and murder weapon from the agreed lists. I obviously won’t be able to play this round but Barman will be included in the list that ARSE chooses from.
So in turn, each of you throw your dice and post the score – you need double-six to start. The scorer (me for the first game) will plot your position on the three dimensional playing matrix. You’ll obviously need to try and avoid the ladder of doom and Microwave of Destruction. If you land on ‘Go To Jail’ you will need to throw a double-six to rejoin the game (not you TMR).
The Scorer will notify the player if he/she has landed on a ‘Chance?’ or ‘Community Chest’ square and what the card reads.
Obviously the best playing tactic is to head for the secret back passages which will whisk you to one of the ten murder locations where you can guess the murder and murder weapon. The scorer will let you know how many of the three are correct but not which ones they are.
