On the karmic scale that more than balances out being juvenile Snoop  lol:

BT just called asking if I wanted a Broadband account.

I patiently explained that I had one but needed it to be transferred from Nick Towers 1  Banghead

They have no record of me ever having an account there  Banghead Banghead

I pointed out that without an account I could not be receiving their e mails on my btinternet.com account  cussing:

SIlence  Banghead

They are now setting up a new account for me  cussing:

SIL transferred from Tiscali to BT last year. All the stuff arrived and fair enough it was easy to set up and all worked.

Nephew wanted to use this 'BT Fon' service where you can use other folks broadband when he is away, and looked up how to do it. He needed some password and account details.

A phone call to “Jenny”

told him to log in and use the information in the Welcome e-mail.

It turns out this was sent to the xxx@btinternet.com e-mail, which they couldn’t access because the e-mail contained the login code to retrieve the e-mail.

“Jenny” just gave a out a new password so they could log in and get the information on how to log in.

Again, to be fair, he says the BT Fon thing works very well on his travels.

I mostly despair
