Right. For the last year or so I have been operating off a broadband dongle which has often been insufferably slow  Banghead  My sis has wi-fi at her house and the internet was at F1 speed all weekend  cloud9:

The flat is already wired (fibre optic) for Virgin Broadband, so I have just called them and they are going to install all the necessary kit next Monday (allegedly).  cloud9:

WHat can possibly go wrong?

BTW mongs say fibre optic...  ::)

Technical gubmeisters (like my goodself) use the technical term "Optical Fibre"  whistle:

 whistle:

"Plug and Pray" is a term I have heard which seems most apt.
