Remember when the  drill was all driven by belts and the dentist tied a bit of cotton around it... you had to 'watch the rabbit' to take your mind off the pain he was inflicting...

Now it is all high tech, electronic, ultrasonic - still hurts like fuck!

I still can remember a dentist incident when I was about 6  eeek:

He used gas and I remember going under to a count from the assistant whilst looking at a willow pattern plate on the wall.  I spent the next however long wandering around a Japanese garden ...  confused:

Quick BM   Channel 5...  some great shots of eye surgery.   eveilgrin:   

I know a Staff Room where Staff eat their lunch while live eye surgery is shown on the TV.  So they can learn while they have a break.    sick2:
