It looks like Flash Gordon is going to be the latest film to be remade

With the director that made such a good job of Clive Cussler's Sahara he asked to be taken off the credits

Given how well he managed to cast the Dirk Pitt, Al Giodino and Rudi Gunn characters I can predict that Brian Blessed's character will probably be played by Pee Wee Herman.
