I have been living with Mr Cs parents for a few weeks. Lurkio their 50 year old younger son lives at home, has never left home and has never had a job.
Three evenings ago having been told by his mother that she had to iron his shirts as he would only burn them I rather politely told him what his mother had said and asked him if he would like me to teach him to iron. Wrong move.
Lurkio is a truly scary man. It sounds very dramatic and I really do not do dramatic I looked into the eyes of a monster. The immediate change after a challenge was remarkable and scary.
There was an episode of Colditz (sp) where one of the inmates pretended to be mad so much so that he ended up mad. This is bought to mind. There is something seriously
going on in that household.
It is very difficult to stand by and see a person that you love being hurt and battered by those that should not be doing such a thing.
