Morning all.  I am the mother of a 21 year old today, do I get a certificate?  cloud9:

You should get a 'Get Out Of Jail Free' card for your efforts!  lol:

Funny how you have printed those cards, but my cludopoly celebrity death bingo card has not arrived yet.  rubschin:

Morning  surrender: surrender: surrender: surrender:

Have not had a wink of sleep. Been lying awake all night thinking about new job.

Sitting in sis's garden with a large coffee and fags watching sun come up  surrender:

You will be fine and JOM is right the forest will be glorious.

Very disturbed night here too, the barking dogs were well, barking and yapping until 11 along with a cow calling for her calf, she wasn't yapping obviously but it a distressed moo. Many on here will know what I mean.

The neighbour to our left is having an extension and he was drilling and hammering until 2 evil: censored: He nearly got the drill bit through his cranium. he then stopped and just as I was dozing off the local cats decided that either a shag or a fight was called for. Angry9:

A dozette in the garden might be called for later when no doubt the whole cacophony will start again .

Still there is Tipsy's cake to look forward to.  My youngest will be 21 next year. eeek:

I have always thought that the worst thing about drowning was having to call 'help!' You must look such a fool. It's put me against drowning.

The Council may be quite slow at dealing with the barking dogs issue ...you can take your own action Miss C at a local magistrates court.

I can send you info on this if you would like. Be useful if you kept a bit of a diary to show the frequency and level of disruption , and also a good idea to get an independent witness but quite a simple process to go through.

Alternatively buy a bigger and louder dog of your own.

Thanks Miss D I would like the info and will PM you.  I have been keeping a diary which I have signed and dated at the end of each page so that it can be used in court if needed.  Mr C can be an independent witness I assume and I know that the neighbours are pretty hacked off.  I noticed that the house on one side of him is up for sale, I feel for them.

Snoops a dog is on the cards but I have well behaved dogs I believe that this bloke is out all day, he is a local butcher by all accounts maybe I could get him to do a hatchet job on his dogs.  Unpleasant sort who likes to threaten people and resorts to shoving excrement through letter boxes when challenged.

After I had seen one of his terriers seriously trying to get at the neighbours pet rabbit I did call plod and ask them what the law was regarding dogs worrying livestock, thinking chickens here.  They were unhelpful and when asked what would happen if I were to accidentally fall on said dog whilst carrying a brick or large stick they told me that it would be a civil (uncivil) action in the court between he and I. noooo:

They looked at it the week before last and said they'd sort it on my next appointment. That is 26th May. As somebody that is still petrified of dentists, I need those 16 days to summon up the courage to go  scared2:
