Last night I attended a Dinner and Dance at Sutton Bowls club, with my brother and his wife. I was all DJ'd up and bruv had the full kilt thing going on. His wife was in posh frock. As we walked in, one of the people there asked me if I was a bouncer. I laughed wearily. Half an hour and one drink later, still no-one else had turned up so I ventured into the kitchen and asked if they were expecting us. They said they were. Next week. Nice one bruv! We ended up in the curry house in Belmont - we attracted a fair few stares!

At a Company "do" some years back our MD turned up in a WHITE Dinner Jacket. Looked like the band leader.
The sales team managed to get everyone in the room to keep going up to him asking if he did requests. He left halfway through the evening.

Sorry but "Black Tie" means Black dinner jacket.
