Morning my fellow time-wasters!   ;D

No power cut yesterday so risking logging-on early today....

Just walked the dog - saw a mahoosive (2m) snake...   eeek:

I walked towards it saying "could that really be a snak-" and soiled myself when it suddenly slid off....  redface:

I trust you had more than one poop bag.  ;)

Morning all.

Did you catch anything?

4 Brownies .... under 1/2 lb each.... all taken on a Kites Imperial.

Excellent for supper tonight. I have cleaned them and they are now sitting on a plate in the fridge

Bloody great Sewin (sea trout) sat in one pool just looking at me. I tried half a dozen different flies and then a worm but the bugger wasn't having any .... I even tried quoting bits of Isaak Walton at him but to no avail. Clearly a hand grenade was the only thing that would have got him on the bank today.

I've marked his spot with a view to going down there after dark but I 'spect some local will have netted him before I get there.

Prepare for  char048

Don't knock it until you've tried it. evil:

For the terminally ignorant it is about half the size of a nasty, flabby, fish factory farmed Rainbow Trout as sold by Sainsburys.  ::)

Brownies under a bridge you say? Ummm at your age I think Girl Guides would be more appropriate. whistle:
