Morning all. I see on the news that the captain of the Italian ship that went over has been arrested for leaving the ship before the evacuation was complete. Wonder if he was Italian...

Seems he was some way off course so that he and his crew could do a "wave-past" to a former colleague, Big, big oops  noooo:

Simon Calder has just been on the telly saying that last night he was able to book a cabin on the ship for a forthcoming cruise, and received confirmation for it this morning  noooo:  noooo:

It's now been reclassified as a diving expedition !

I understand there were 2 likely scenario's. That seismic activity had created some new underwater features ( unrecorded like ) or that the  Italian Captain had done a Berlesconi & f***ed over 2 thousand people ?
