It most certainly is morning, has been for a while now but good it is not.  No sleep thus far. Banghead Banghead

I will collect the glasses and set the dishwasher going while the kettle boils, place your tea and coffee orders here folks....

Yes , can we help ?

You are not alone in feeling fragile. Yesterday evening I received a text from the missus saying she was going for "a couple" of drinks after work with her team.  At about 10.30pm, after I'd rang her several times without response, she finally rang back - hogwhimperingly drunk. "Come and get me".

"No, I'm in bed, get a cab"

"Can't, lost my handbag"

"FFS! Where are you?"

"Don't know, London somewhere"

"Be more specific you dipso!"

"Dunno, London"

And so I ended up driving up to London and eventually - after about 2 hours, found her sitting in a shop doorway in Aldwych talking to a vagrant - the vagrant thanked me for taking her away so he could sleep. Got home just before 1am.

And so to this morning when her alarm went off at 4.45am. Several snoozes later up she gets and suggests she's not fit to get on a train (understatement of the year) so I end up driving her into work. £20 on petrol and £10 congestion charge later I am home again.

She's just sent me a text - one of her colleagues took her bag as they thought she had gone home and forgotten it.

As I said. Women  cussing:
