Not sure on that..... I think the use of pictures or videos might make a difference but a post with blank space doesn't seem to do it. I suspect it is more to do with number of "characters" used but most threads seem to clock over to a new page every 15 posts ...... There may even be a setting in the admin locker which we could alter  rubschin:

Correcting my maths I see that we clocked over exactly 15 short of 15000 posts so the average is obviously 15 as page 1000 will take us to 15000 posts.
