Cake Stands
« on: February 07, 2011, 02:45:48 PM »
Come on then .... who else owns (and prolly never uses) a cake stand?

Fess up!

Miss C for certain 'cos she is refined.
DS is bound to have one cos he's a toff.
Nick won't 'cos he'd only break it.
Miss D? Bit of a puzzler that one .. I don't reckon cakes hang around long enough in Dementia Towers to reach the table but I could be wrong.
Pastis is sure to have one.
Wenchy prolly has a hand knitted one.
BM ... No chance, straight from pack to gob I suspect
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

We have two.  redface:

Even more embarassing, Mrs DS (#3) actually uses them, one for cakes and the other for little (cucumber) sandwiches.  redface: redface:

I have quite a few.  redface:

They are used for varying things but three are only for cake and pre-wedding starvation were in regular use!
