[/serious]Perhaps you should provide a section, like the Commons, where posters will be treated gently and with courtesy and only have mild mickey taking. I am sure we would all abide by the rules therein. I suggest it be called "The Shallow End".
New members do receive a Welcome email when we accept their application and they are invited to introduce themselves in the "Welcome to our forum" thread. Not one ever has.
