The thing is, I have been "acting up" for the last month - doing the job I have applied for to cover when they are missing a Line Controller. I have to say it is by far the most stressful thing I have ever done. Far more stressful than presenting a make or break project plan to the board of Nationwide Building Society.
In 50 minutes I have to track about 15 flights, keep checking the ETAs, keep checking what stand they will be positioned on and then make sure that at least 45 baggage carts all get to the right stand at the right time. And then get the last few late check-in bags there as well. And lift hundreds of bags onto the baggage carts while I am at it.
All for an extra £0.47 per hour.
They want me to "act up" tomorrow.
If I don't get my holiday approved, they can go fuck themselves
