Utter bollox. Depends on a number of factors - aircraft type, trim, bulk or ULD, even trip distance. All can affect how quickly they come off the other end.

Plus of course if you get your cases wrapped in cling film they get put to one side, receive a good shoeing and get put on the carousel last...  whistle:

A colleague decided to buy his wife some perfume, so off he trotted. Returned half an hour later having spent nothing.

"Out of stock"? I enquired

"No. They told me I could buy any brand except the one I wanted - Chanel."

"Why?"

"Chanel have told them that their product is a premium one and only available to passengers, not airport workers."
