Christmas arrived last night. 4 of us in. Actually left not wishing to die horribly on the way home for a change.

One bad thing though - I killed a rabbit in Gatwick last night.  cry: There are loads on certain internal roads and they normally get out your way, this one didn't. I feel terrible, did a U-Turn and saw the freshly squashed remnants on the road. Luckily it rained heavily shortly after and washed most of the blood away. The crows took the solid bits.

Why are rabbits feet deemed to be lucky when they fail to hop out of the way so much ?  noooo:

Not at work tonight, but have had a look at flight load numbers. Surprise, surprise outbound French, Malta and Amsterdam numbers decimated, returnees packed.

This absoulute fuckwittery has to stop. No quarantine for any country. Insist people take responsibility for themselves - you wan't to travel abroad, fine, you take the precautions you feel necessary. Lots of travel insurers now cover Covid-19 (a flu). It's all bollox, the sheeple are being conditioned into accepting total Government choices over their lives - pointless face masks being a part of it. Also rendering face recognition useless. The west got pranked by the Chinese with videos of total shut down/doors welded shut/roads and pavement being sprayed into thinking this was the next bubonic plague. Western economies shit themselves and shut down, just as China intended. They cannot win a physical war, they won an economic one.

Stop it now. Cunts. (apologies to the laydeees)

You want us to be like the USA with well over 5,000 deaths a week?

France’s Rise in Infections Due to Increased Testing

Quote
Yesterday the Government removed France from the “Green List” of countries you can travel to without having to quarantine on return, along with the Netherlands, Monaco, Malta, Turks & Caicos and Aruba. From 4am on Saturday, anyone returning from France will have to self-isolate for 14 days. The reason? Rising case numbers. There have been an additional 11,633 positive test results in France in the past week, with approximately 600,000 tests being done, the highest number of tests to date. (On July 25th, the French Government introduced free PCR testing without the need to get a prescription from a doctor.) But in every department the percentage of infected people is still below the 50/100,000 threshold that in France would trigger a local lockdown. In addition, there’s been no corresponding rise in hospitalisations or deaths (see above). That suggests the rise in cases is an artefact of increased testing and not due to an increase in the percentage of the population that’s infected.

I don't want anybody dead, stop putting words in my mouth.

I simply do not believe this flu is the sole reason for hugher death numbers. America is hardly an example to the rest of the world - chronic obesity, diabetes etc. Darwin at work. Decimating economies will lead to far greater strife and deaths all round.

I asked a question

There's no perfect way forward with this.  Between the two extremes of 'just let it happen, let business be done unrestricted' and 'take every possible precaution forever' there are a million and more options.  It needs honest informed debate and it needs continual honest review.  Calling it flu serves neither

Well, whatever, nevermind
