About 20% who turn up at Gatwick are unceremoniously told, in no uncertain language, to fuck right off and be thankful they haven't been fined. As a predominantly bucket and spade airport, it's probably easier to police than Heathrow where the passenger base is more varied.

25 flights today - one A321 due in Pafos in about an hour with about 110 punters on it.

The bigwigs are super-shiteing themselves again, even though this is only 1/3 2019 volumes  noooo: I had 30 staff when I left this morning, we didn't have that many when we had 200 flights a day...

Also...a really lovely thing...once all the day's flights have gone, Starbucks simply give away all left over food to Gatwick staff. 2 of my boys go up every night and return with bag-fulls of rolls and sandwiches etc. Last night I had the breakfast bap thingy (7/10) and a plain looking ham roll thingy (7/10 for the quality ham content, even if it looked a bit boring)...I'll end up as fat as Nick if this carries on  eeek:
