They very much are designed to test asymptomatic people. Over 6 million tests in the last week in the UK
PCR is not and was not ever designed to test asymptomatic people... And if you run the ridiculous number of cycles (>30) that they do you will find anything...
If you went back 3, 5, 10 years and tested 6 million people every week for flu we'd be in a the same position... But we didn't because that would be ridiculous because tens of thousands die every year from flu... Every year.
Asymptomatic people are not 'cases'. People with symptoms are cases...
