It's a mess but it could be far worse, we could have America's figures. According to John Hopkins University over there have been just over 731,000 fatalities from the virus to date which means that more people have died from Covid so far this year than did in the whole of 2020, even with the increased rollout of vaccines, monoclonal antibody treatment etc.

They won't go under, but they won't be profitable for a while.

I have about 130 staff in the baggage and aircraft cleaning teams, at the moment 3 are off with Covid - 3 more than this time last year. All are double-vaxxed, also my brother and his missus, both double-vaxxed are currently laid low with it. There's a lot of it around.

What %'age of people in the NHS are actually dying with Covid compared to just about any other illness these days - in fact what %'age of beds are occupied with Covid patients...?

They very much are designed to test asymptomatic people.  Over 6 million tests in the last week in the UK

PCR is not and was not ever designed to test asymptomatic people... And if you run the ridiculous number of cycles (>30) that they do you will find anything...

If you went back 3, 5, 10 years and tested 6 million people every week for flu we'd be in a the same position... But we didn't because that would be ridiculous because tens of thousands die every year from flu... Every year.

Asymptomatic people are not 'cases'. People with symptoms are cases...
